What to do
- Select the vehicle whose service you want to change. In its Basics section, click its assigned line name. If it has no assigned service, open Line Manager from the toolbar and inspect the vehicle or depot there instead.
- The line overview and Line Manager are different windows. Use the manage-line action in the line overview to reach the editable stop list. Do not expect the missing direct button proposed in the October 1 discussion to be present in every build.
- In Line Manager, clear the text search and deselect the transport and visible-area filters if you cannot find the line. They combine: a correct name can still be hidden by a bus-only filter or a viewport filter while the route is off-screen.
- Select one line by clicking its name or clearing the other selections. The lower section should now show its stops and waypoints; the middle section shows vehicles. Multiple selected lines can make it difficult to identify which service an action affects.
- Hover the relevant stop row to reveal its editing actions. Use the drag handle to reorder a stop, or its configuration control to change cargo/departure settings. Check the selected stop before confirming a change.

How to tell it worked
The selected line name matches the vehicle service, its stop list appears in the lower section and its route is highlighted in the world. Opening the overview alone is not yet the editable manager.
If you are still stuck
Still missing: remove both search text and the visible-area filter, then inspect the carrier category. No assigned line: check the vehicle selection and assignment. A route warning is a connection problem, not evidence that the manager failed to open.
